Can I book for someone else?

Yes. The contact details are used for sending the ticket and for any updates, while the traveller details are the people actually flying. They do not have to be the same person.

Make sure the traveller names match their passports exactly — airlines charge a fee to correct a name after ticketing, and some do not allow it at all.
